Ed firmly believes in protecting our constitutional right to bear arms. He’s a member of the NRA and has received an A-rating from the NRA for his commitment to the 2nd Amendment.
Ed understands that Tennessee has a long way to go on education. He wants higher academic standards for our students, opposes Common Core, and supports our teachers. Ed knows we need to find innovative ways to educate our children and provide vocational training.
Taxes stifle business. Ed has a long record of cutting taxes so our families can keep more of their hard-earned money.
Tennesseans deserve quality access to healthcare. Ed supports block grants for healthcare and is an advocate for less federal red tape and oversight.
We need juvenile and adult reform. Ed believes in providing counseling to non-violent offenders and in daily reporting centers, which deliver better results while costing taxpayers less.
